On inspection, the cylinder had failed internally, with signs pointing to a possible faulty relief valve and thermostat causing overheating ?. The existing setup also had no proper drainage, allowing water to discharge directly onto the floor.
We removed the damaged unit and installed a brand new 250L Thermann system along with a new safe tray, Mildred valve, and an additional cold water expansion valve for added protection. All relief drains have now been correctly run to drainage - no more water spilling onto the floor ✅
